Every morning we check thousands of UK job adverts and keep only those that say the employer will sponsor a visa. This page summarises who is behind today's 2,969 sponsored jobs.
The headline numbers
| Measure | Today |
|---|---|
| Employers with sponsored jobs | 342 |
| NHS jobs | 2,809 (95%) |
| Jobs at other employers | 160 |
| Employers matched on the Home Office sponsor register | 215 (63%) |
| Employers with a single sponsored job | 102 |
The sponsor register lists more than 126,000 licensed organisations, but only a small share of them advertise jobs that state sponsorship on any given day. A sponsor licence alone tells you little: the advert is what matters.

Outside the NHS
Private employers account for 160 of today's sponsored jobs. They come mostly from technology, finance and research companies that state their sponsorship policy in every advert.

How we count
An employer is counted when at least one of its current UK adverts contains a clear statement that sponsorship is available, and no statement that it is not. We match employer names to the Home Office register of licensed sponsors using the legal name and common variations. A missing match often just means the employer trades under a different name from its registered one.
