An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the team at St John's Hospice in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families while contributing to the ongoing development of the service.
- To promote a positive and supportive ward culture and deputise for the Ward Manager in their absence.
- To act as a visible role model, demonstrating professional standards, supportive leadership, and promoting excellence in patient care and staff development.
Main duties of the job
To support the line management, professional development and day-to-day coordination of a dedicated and compassionate team, promoting a positive culture and high standards of care.
To support the delivery of holistic, person-centred palliative and end-of-life care, acting as a positive role model for nursing colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
To participate in ward audits enabling staff to identify any gaps in practice and work.
